Tasting Notes
The Nature 2016 from Castel Faglia estate has a beautiful straw yellow colour and a nice perlage with fine persistent bubbles.
On the nose it’s creamy, citrusy and rather mineral with notes of varnish, brioche and lemon meringue.

Franciacorta
Geographic region in Italy
The territory of Franciacorta is a part of the Province of Brescia in the Italian Region of Lombardy. It is named after the Latin phrase “franchae curtes,” which means “free from paying duties.” Franciacorta stretches from Mount Orphan in the southwest to the northern shores of Lake Iseo, and from the river Oglio on the western frontier to Brescia on the eastern. Glacial activity formed the physical conformation that is characterized by rolling hills.
