Tasting Notes

The Refošk Classic 2018 from Rodica Estate has a deep ruby red colour.

On the nose it’s juicy with black currant and blackberry jam. It has also a spicy side with cloves and cinnamon, it’s reminiscent of a mulled wine.

The mouthfeel is full where tannins are present but well integrated.

On the palate the juiciness from the blackberry jam is back, together with the clove and spices.

The finish is rather long.
