Sarris "Lygia" 2020
100% TsaoussiFunky. Orange peel, cider, wet stone.
Tasting Notes
The 2020 Lygia from Panos Sarris has a nice apricot-y colour.
On the nose it shows a cider-y like character, notes of komquat and orange peel follow. It unfolds with some herbaceousness (nettle maybe?), a hint of incense and wet stone.
The mouthfeel is interesting and ”layered”. It’s round, yet has a crunch and nice integrated freshness. The sensations complement each others and are balanced! Unfortunately Lygia is a bit thin in the mouth. Watery almost.
On the palate it shows notes of orange peel again then walnut and bitter almond.
The finish is on the short side
