Rellerei Cantina Terlan "Müller Thurgau" 2019
100% Muller ThurgauSapid and mineral. Nettle, acacia flower, wet stone.
Tasting Notes
The 2019 Müller Thurgau from Terlano Estate is straw yellow.
The nose opens with herbaceous and mineral notes. It could be mistaken for a Sauvignon Blanc. I find green pepper, nettle to start with. At a second sniff notes of white flowers, citrus fruit zest and a distinctive wet stone note come through.
The mouthfeel is fresh yet round, mineral and sapid.
The finish is medium long with an interesting bitter almond note that contrasts and complements well the roundness of the wine.
Good choice as a casual aperitif given the price point. It goes also well with vegetable dishes, white meat and fish starters, pasta or risottos.
