Quinta da Vineadouro "Claret" 2019
Evolved yet refreshing. Under spirit cherry & red apple.
Tasting Notes
The Clarete 2019 from Quinta da Vineadouro has a light ruby colour.
On the nose it comes across with under spirit cherries and chocolate first and freshly cut grass and red apple at a second sniff.
On the palate it’s round yet there is a nice freshness to it.
It’s slightly bitter on the finish, with is medium long to long.

Douro DOC
Portuguese wine
Douro is a Portuguese wine region in the Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro region, based on the Douro River. It is often referred to as the Alto Douro because it is situated upstream from Porto and is shielded from coastal influences by mountain ranges. As a Denominaço de Origem Controlada, the area has the highest wine classification in Portugal (DOC). Although the Douro is best known for Port wine, it also produces table wine. Usually, non-fortified wines are referred to as “Douro wines.”
