Quinta da Vineadouro "Vinhas Antigas" 2019
Spicy & oaky. Candied ginger & melon.
Tasting Notes
Vinhas Antigas 2019 from Quinta da Vineadouro has a golden colour in the glass.
On the nose it comes across oaky and spicy with notes of vanilla, clove, candies ginger but also a tropical touch reminiscent of ripe melon.
On the mouth Vinhas Antigas is round and spicy with a nice high freshness kicking in just after the first sip.
The finish is rather long.

Douro DOC
Portuguese wine
Douro is a Portuguese wine region in the Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro region, based on the Douro River. It is often referred to as the Alto Douro because it is situated upstream from Porto and is shielded from coastal influences by mountain ranges. As a Denominaço de Origem Controlada, the area has the highest wine classification in Portugal (DOC). Although the Douro is best known for Port wine, it also produces table wine. Usually, non-fortified wines are referred to as “Douro wines.”
